Joe based the measurements of his universal reformer on the golden ratios and human body proportions laid out by greek architect and engineer Vitruvius. The reformer was originally design to be truly universal as it is able to fit almost all body types. Our reformer has been engineered to maximized those principles. The full reformer length is available for carriage travel, and our patented multifunction plate cleans up and aligns the foot bar and gear areas recovering the correct proportional dimensions for foot-work, stomach-massage and splits. The Heritage Reformer accommodates all body lengths up to 7’5’’ without compromising strap angle and resistance. As Romana always told us - there is no need for diminished functionality by increased reformer length.... one size should fit all! |
